What is NDIS community participation?
Community participation support helps you take part in social, recreational and community activities. A support worker can go with you, help you get there, and support you to join in, so you can build friendships, try new things and become more independent. Under the NDIS, this is usually funded under Core Supports, in the category "Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation". Whether it is in your plan, and how much, depends on your goals and your funding, so check your plan or ask us and we can help you work it out.
